In April 2001, the Yorkton United F.C. was formed. Preliminary talks started in the fall of 2000 between all the competitive teams and clubs in Yorkton. The goal was to move toward unification, combining efforts to building a positive future for all of the competitive players and, ultimately, to stand together as one voice within our community. It was in the spring of 2001 that the teams and clubs voted in favor of an amalgamation that would give birth to one club, Yorkton United F.C.
In the fall of 2011, Yorkton Soccer Association (YSA) join forces with Yorkton United Football Club (YUFC). As a result, all soccer programming in Yorkton is now offered through YUFC.
YUFC currently competes in Saskatchewan in all age groups, from under 5 to adult, and all levels of competition, from community to Provincial Soccer League (PSL). Our Mission, Vision and Values Statements can be found here.
